Prepaying a prostitute: when it's okay, when it's not, and how not to lose your money

Prepayment is the number one cause of fraud when ordering a prostitute. You get a message: "Transfer 10,000 KZT in advance, I'll be there in 30 minutes." You transfer the money. And that's it. No one shows up, the number is blocked, the money is gone. Here's why Malina discourages prepayment — and the one situation where it actually makes sense.

The rule on Malina is simple: you pay at the meeting, after you've seen the prostitute in person. No advance payments, no deposits, no prepaying unfamiliar profiles. But there is one exception — more on that below.

Why prepaying a prostitute is a risk

Асема

The prepayment scam works like this: a prostitute (or someone pretending to be one) asks for an advance "for the trip" or "to reserve the time." The amount is usually small — 5,000–15,000 KZT. You transfer it via Kaspi, and then:

  • The prostitute stops responding to messages

  • The number gets blocked

  • The profile is deleted, a new one appears

  • There's no way to get the money back — it's a transfer to an individual, no contract

This happens most often with unverified profiles and new listings with no reviews. If a prostitute insists on prepayment and refuses to come without an advance — that's the first warning sign.

How it works on Malina

On Malina, prepayment is not required. You:

  • Choose a prostitute from the catalog

  • Message her: time, place, duration

  • The prostitute comes to you, or you go to her

  • You pay at the meeting, after you've seen the prostitute

If the prostitute doesn't match her photos — you decline and pay nothing. If you're happy with how she looks — you pay for the session. Money changes hands, no transfers, no risk.

When prepaying a prostitute makes sense

There's one exception where prepayment is justified: you're booking a verified prostitute you've already met before, and you want to secure priority.

Here's the situation: you know the prostitute, you've met her 2–3 times, you're satisfied. You want to book her for a Friday evening. On Fridays, demand is high and she gets a lot of requests. She can't guarantee she'll be free at your time if you just "promise to come over."

In this case, prepayment acts as a reservation. The prostitute blocks the slot for you, turns down other clients, and waits for you. It's a mutual guarantee: you — that you won't cancel at the last minute, she — that she'll be available.

Conditions under which prepayment is safe:

  • The prostitute is verified — she has the "Verified" badge on Malina

  • You've already met this prostitute before

  • The prostitute has reviews from other clients

  • The advance amount is reasonable — no more than 30–50% of the meeting price

  • The transfer goes to the same number listed in the profile

When you should NOT pay in advance

Absolutely do not transfer prepayment if:

  • You're seeing this prostitute for the first time — you've never met before

  • The profile is unverified — no "Verified" badge

  • The prostitute has 0 reviews, or the reviews look suspiciously identical

  • The prostitute asks for an advance "for the road" or "for a taxi" — that's a classic scam

  • The prepayment amount is more than 50% of the meeting price

  • The prostitute pressures you: "Transfer now, or I'll go to someone else" — pressure = sign of fraud

  • The transfer number doesn't match the contact in the profile

How to book a prostitute safely without prepayment

If you don't want to risk prepayment but need to reserve a time — there are alternatives:

  • Agree on your word: "I'll arrive at 20:00, confirm an hour before." Most verified prostitutes will accommodate this.

  • Book for 1 hour, not for the whole night — the risk is lower. If everything goes well, extend on the spot.

  • Message the Malina manager — they'll help you reserve the time through an official channel, without transferring money to the prostitute directly.

What to do if you got scammed through prepayment

If you transferred prepayment to a prostitute and she didn't show up:

  • Report it to the manager via the site or Telegram — provide the number you transferred to and the amount

  • Leave a complaint on the prostitute's profile

  • Check your Kaspi statement — the transfer can be disputed if it was made by card

  • Don't order this prostitute again

Malina blocks profiles of prostitutes who systematically take prepayment and don't show up. But for that to happen, the platform needs complaints from clients — don't stay silent.

FAQ

Why do prostitutes ask for prepayment?

Two reasons: an honest one — so the client doesn't cancel at the last minute, and a fraudulent one — to take the money and not show up. Malina discourages prepayment precisely because of the second.

Can I pay a prostitute by transfer after the meeting?

Yes, if the prostitute agrees. But a Kaspi transfer leaves a trace (the recipient's name). If anonymity matters to you — pay in cash.

What's a normal prepayment amount?

No more than 30–50% of the meeting price. If a prostitute asks for 100% in advance — that's not a reservation, that's a risk.

Can the Malina manager book without prepayment?

Yes. Write to support — the manager will contact the prostitute and confirm the booking. That's safer than transferring money directly.
